Yampa Valley Landlords will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the basement at Calvary Baptist Church, 1050 Yampa Ave.

Haunted house opens Thursday

American Legion Post 62 is hosting a haunted house for Halloween season at Centennial Mall, 1111 W. Victory Way.

The haunted house runs from 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday through Sunday and Oct. 27 to 30. The attraction is open from 7 to 11 p.m. Oct. 31.

Workforce board to meet Thursday

The Northwest Colorado Workforce Investment Board will meet from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Routt County Courthouse, 522 Lincoln Ave., Steamboat Springs.

Church to host antique auction

The Journey at First Baptist will host an antiques and collectibles auction at 5 p.m. Saturday at the church, 1150 W. Ninth St.

The sale is open to the public and also includes a soup and pie supper. Proceeds will benefit the church's new nursery.

Items donated to the auction include oak wash stands, children's chairs, buffet, sewing box, fur coat, glassware, bottles, crocks, pianos and jewelry.

Dan Hodges will be the live auctioneer.

Library offers teen mp3 player drawing

In honor of Teen Read Week, the Craig branch of Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St., is hosting a drawing for an mp3 player and speaker set.

Teen Read Week began Sunday and continues through Saturday.

Any teen between the ages of 13 and 18 can enter to win the mp3 player and speakers through Saturday.
