The Moffat County High School Class of 1961 will celebrate its 50th reunion next weekend.
The reunion is scheduled for 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 6 at the Museum of Northwest Colorado, 590 Yampa Ave.
Anyone is welcome.
State Farm offering photos with stars
Bob Johnson and the State Farm insurance agency, 690 W. Victory Way, invite youths to have their photos taken with cardboard cutouts of cartoon characters Mater and Lightning McQueen next week.
Photos are available between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and are free.

Last Frontier to meet today
Preserving the Last Frontier will hold its monthly meeting at 1:30 p.m. today in the library on the second floor at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St.
Take items for "show and tell." The meeting is open to the public.

Lions Club hosts potluck, dance
The Hayden Lions Club is hosting a community potluck and barn dance from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday at Hayden Granary/Yampa Valley Feeds, 198 E. Lincoln Ave., Hayden.
The John Wayne Band will play country tunes beginning at 7 p.m.
All ages are welcome to the family-friendly event.
Admission is $10 and benefits the Hayden Lions Club.
American Legion hosts bingo tonight
American Legion Post 62 will host bingo on Saturday at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way.
Bingo begins at 5:45 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.
