Free oral health screenings for children from ages 6 months to 3 years will take place from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. today at The Memorial Hospital, 750 Hospital Loop.
The screenings include a free fluoride varnish.
The screenings are part of Connections 4 Kids' Cavity Free at Three Program.

Potluck set at Sunset Meadows
A potluck is scheduled for noon today at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St.

Feb. 1 deadline for CNCC Louisiana trip
Colorado Northwestern Community College's Craig campus is hosting a trip to Louisiana from April 10 through 14 as part of its community education program.
The tour takes participants to Crescent City, Cajun country and Shreveport. Trip highlights include plantation tours, a visit to the New Orleans School of Cooking and lunch in Crawfish Town, U.S.A., the college reported in a news release.
The trip costs $1,499 for residents older than 62. The non-senior rate is $1,749 per person younger than 62.
The deadline to make reservations is Feb. 1.

Free crochet classes offered
A free crochet class takes place from 1 to 4 p.m. Feb. 3 at 655 Ranney St.
February's project is a half double crochet hat or headband.
