The Moffat County Commission hosts its weekly meeting at 8:30 a.m. today at the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way. The meeting is open to the public.

The agenda is listed below:

• 8:30 to 8:35 a.m. Call to order, Pledge of Allegiance, moment of silence

• 8:40 to 8:45 a.m. Consent agenda

— Review and sign the following documents: approve Jan. 25 and Jan. 28 meeting minutes; contract for tutoring services and GED preparation; workforce board appointments resolution; and certification and quarterly report of public trustee.

• 8:45 to 9 a.m. General discussion

The Northwestern Colorado Habitat Partnership Program committee is hosting its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. today at the Craig Chamber of Commerce, 360 E. Victory Way.

Open mic night slated for tonight

Carelli's Pizzeria & Pasta, 465 Yampa Ave., is hosting an open mic night tonight. Sign-up takes place at 6:30 p.m., and performances begin at 7 p.m. The event is open to singers, songwriters, poets, or anyone who wishes to perform.

2011 Relay for Life kicks off at TMH

The 2011 Relay for Life kick-off event is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. today at The Memorial Hospital, 750 Hospital Loop.

The event will include a luminaria ceremony, a celebration of survivors, speakers, information stations and refreshments. Teams will also be able to get information.

Craig City Council hosting meeting tonight

The Craig City Council is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. today at Craig City Hall, 300 W. Fourth St.

The meeting is open to the public, and the agenda is listed below:

• Approve Jan. 25 meeting minutes

• Approve January bills

— Approve renewal of the tavern liquor license for the Golden Cavvy Restaurant & Lounge at 538 Yampa Ave. No cause shown for denial.
