Briefs for Feb. 3, 2011: Wyman Museum hosting Valentine’s Day dinner

Wyman Museum, 94350 E. U.S. Highway 40, is hosting its third annual Romantic Dinner on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14.

The dinner, which begins at 6 p.m., includes prime rib and crab. The cost is $50 per person. Sleigh rides will take place after dinner, and a Moffat County High School jazz band quartet will perform.

There will also be a silent auction, and a Valentine's Day gift for two people.

All proceeds benefit the museum's Winter Festival.

Habitat Partnership Program meeting Feb. 8

The Northwestern Colorado Habitat Partnership Program committee is hosting its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Craig Chamber of Commerce, 360 E. Victory Way.

Variety Show set for Friday

The Craig Variety Show is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265, 419 E. Victory Way.

The event, which is the first Friday of each month, welcomes local singers, songwriters, poets and storytellers to showcase their talents.

This month's event features Dave Morris in a comedic act to celebrate his brother Rob's birthday.

American Legion offers bingo Saturday

American Legion Post 62 hosts bingo on Saturday at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way.

The doors open at 5 p.m., and games start at 6:15 p.m. Anyone is welcome.

Hayden group presents 'Peter Pan' adaptation

Class Act Productions, a theater group in Hayden of students in grades 3 to 12, presents "Peter Pan and Wendy," a comedic adventure adapted by Doug Rand.

The youths will perform the play at 7 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday at the Hayden High School auditorium, 495 W. Jefferson Ave., Hayden.

The cost is $3 for children 11 and younger and $7 for those 12 and older.
