Black Mountain Theatre Board: Play a big success
October 1, 2010
To the editor:
This past weekend's play, "Moffat County's Last Stand," was as much fun to produce as it was to watch.
For those of you who missed it, don't miss the next one. You never know who you will see on stage or in the script.
We would like to thank Morgan Shrum, Trenton Alexander and Jason Field for lights and sound; Beth Gilchrist, Andy Chotvacs, Kristin and Abby Walters, and friends for help with ticket sales; Julie Dempster for coordinating advertising, production of posters and programs; and Kathy Johnson of Katie's Kostumes for her expert eye and perfect costumes, as well as her ditzy laugh.
Special thanks to the Craig Daily Press for advertising and support, and Craig Middle School for the use of the auditorium.
A big thank you (insert evil laugh here) to the entire cast for their hours of dedication and silliness. A round of applause to the community for venturing in to see what "Last Stand" was all about.
This play would not have ever existed if not for David Morris, who wrote, directed and lent his acting talent to the show.
Dave has given us the motivation to keep Black Mountain Theater alive in Craig. Thank you, Dave.
