1 lb. fresh asparagus, trimmed
1 tablespoon butter, melted
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon toasted pine nuts or other chopped nuts
Steam the asparagus in a steamer until tender-crisp; drain. Arrange on a serving platter. Whisk the butter and balsamic vinegar in a bowl. Drizzle the mixture over the asparagus. Sprinkle with pine nuts. Serves 4.
