To the editor:
My mother, Stella Hall, was a schoolteacher in Craig for 40 years. As many are aware, she began having health issues several years ago, but with the help of many fine medical persons and caregivers, she improved to the point she could enjoy life.
In April 2013, I moved her to Las Vegas, Nev., to live with me so that I could care for her needs, and her health continued to improve. Sadly, however, several days ago her health took a turn for the worse, and she is now being cared for with the aid of hospice.
If anyone would like to write her a card, it will be read to her. I know she misses Craig and all of the wonderful friends and people in Craig. Cards and letters can be addressed to her at 6218 Matisse Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89131.
I will assure anyone who writes that their card or correspondence will be read to her, since she can still understand everything that is said to her.
