It is important to keep track of your workouts. Maintaining a daily or weekly log to track all of your workouts helps to ensure that you are progressing in the right direction and keeping your body challenged. Record such things as frequency, duration and intensity of your exercise. If you are resistance training you will want to track the amount of weight, number of sets and repetitions. It is also important to write down how you felt during and after your workouts in order to help adjust your next workout.
