Knees are the main hinge between the ground and your entire body, the most common for injuries and the most difficult to rest. Athletes, regular exercisers or someone participating in regular everyday activities all are at equal risk of injuring a knee. Protect your knees by assuring knees do not go forward of toes during squats, be cautious when twisting and turning, strengthen and stretch surrounding muscles and brace and ice a rehabbing injury. Muscle supports more than a brace, and it’s much better to increase strength than to rely on wraps and braces to do the job. Listen to your body, and get medical attention if you are experiencing persistent pain or hearing audible pops, grinds or cracks.
