A representative from the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association will be available to answer questions about health insurance reform from 4:30 to 6 p.m Tuesday at the Boys and Girls Club of Craig. The informational session — held in tandem with the organization’s flu clinic at the same location — is for families, individuals and small businesses interested in learning their options for insurance through Connect for Health Colorado, the state-wide resource for finding health care coverage.
Erin Gleason is the VNA’s community and small business health insurance coordinator and will be speaking with people about their concerns.
“It’s open for people to just drop in so we can address their questions,” she said. “We want to have an informal location that’s kind of neutral, not really a health care place.”
Gleason added she hopes to host more of these events in the coming months, maybe even on a weekly basis.
“We’re trying to nail down a location right now, but I’m sure a lot of places will be willing to work with us on that,” she said.
Those unable to attend can also contact the VNA in Craig at 970-871-7664 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
