Alberta and Jerry Brock: Snow help appreciated

To the editor:

We would like to thank Jeremy, Nathaniel and Colt of Scout Troop 1150, Boy Scouts of America, from The Journey at First Baptist, and their scout master Darrin and scout leaders Cindy and Shawnel for coming to our home and cleaning up all the downed branches that we lost from our trees in the recent snow storm and piling them at the curb for us.

Without their help, it would have been a very big job for us to clean up, as we are senior citizens. They all did a great job and need to be recognized for their community service! We also would like to thank the crew from the city for picking up this huge pile of branches and taking them away. Great job, fellows!
