4 cups shredded cabbage
6 green onions, chopped
2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 package dry ramen noodles
1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds (optional)
Toss cabbage, onion and sesame seeds together; set aside. Mix water, oil, sugar, vinegar and contents of ramen seasoning packet to make dressing. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture; toss with crumbled dry ramen noodles. Sprinkle with toasted almonds, if desired. Makes 6 servings.
Note: This slaw tastes even better the second day!
