Make exercise a priority
Are exercise excuses slowing you down? Find the time and make exercise a priority. Some of the toughest exercises can be done in just 15 minutes. A gym is not the only place you can find your fit body. There are so many great workouts that can be done at home on videos, on television or just with some good music in your own living room. Maybe you are unaware of a good exercise plan? Talk to friends or even call a personal trainer who can prescribe a fitness program to get the results you are looking for. Motion creates energy. If your lack of energy is your excuse not to exercise, rethink it. You will be surprised at how good you feel and how much you can get done by getting up and being more physically active. Let the end of the year end your exercise excuses.
Improve your workout by drinking water. Not only does water keep you hydrated throughout your workout, but it acts as a lubricator for your muscles, joints and vital organs. It is also a transporter of oxygen and glucose throughout your body, increasing your energy. When your body becomes dehydrated, you often feel tired and unmotivated, causing your workouts to not have the quality they could if your body was well-hydrated. If you are exercising for 20 to 30 minutes, start with 8 to 16 ounces of water before a workout, consuming throughout your workout, and follow up with another glass after you have finished.
