Snake River football season ends in 1st round of playoffs

The Little Snake River Valley School six-man football team played its final game of the season Friday, losing in the playoffs to Guernsey-Sunrise, 57-28.

The Rattlers had gotten the third seed in the west of the Wyoming six-man football playoffs, which gave them a road game at Guernsey, the two seed from the east. The Vikings (7-2) ended the Rattlers’ season and moved on to the state semifinal game.

It was the first time in three years Snake River was eliminated before the state championship game. The Rattlers finished the season 4-4.
