Todd Edward Smith, 41, of Grand Junction, was booked into Moffat County Jail on suspicion of being a habitual traffic offender and driving a vehicle without mufflers.

Jesse Dean Maneotis, 18, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on suspicion of illegal consumption of ethyl alcohol by a minor, unlawful possession of a weapon on a school campus and prohibited use of a weapon.

Saturday, May 18

Robert Jason Petersen, 42, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on a warrant.

Sunday, May 19

Caesar Vance Collins, 22, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on a warrant.

Michael Glen Thompson Jr., 33, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on suspicion of violating a restraining order, harassment, domestic violence, reckless driving and child abuse.

Christopher Aaron West, 26, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with an open container, careless driving and attempting to elude a police officer.

Domingo J. Loya-Loya, 25, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on suspicion of false reporting to authorities.

Richard Charles Ferdig, 47, a transient, was booked into Moffat County Jail on a warrant.

9:22 a.m. Officers responded to the 1200 block of Rose Street for a report of a Honda 5,000-watt generator stolen from a warehouse garage.

10:15 a.m. Code enforcement officers responded to the intersection of Seventh and Jeremiah streets for a weed complaint.

10:36 a.m. Officers responded to the 1100 block of West Victory Way and disposed of illicit drugs turned in by a resident.

Saturday, May 18

12:57 p.m. Officers responded to the 1000 block of East Seventh Street for a report of a cold burglary. No suspects have been identified.

6:29 p.m. Officers responded to the 2200 block of West Third Street and arrested a man on a warrant.

Sunday, May 19

1:22 a.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Jeremiah and Seventh streets for a parking complaint. Upon arrival, the car already was gone, but officers later caught up to the car and issued a man a summons for obstructing a peace officer, reckless driving and attempting to elude a police officer.

3:26 p.m. Officers responded to the 800 block of Legion Street for a report of prescription drugs stolen from a residence. Officers think they have a suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

Monday, May 20

11:23 a.m. Code enforcement officers responded to the 400 block of Elmwood Street and warned residents about weeds, junk and cars.

12:20 p.m. Officers responded to the 100 block West Sixth Street for a report of a driver’s side mirror broken off a car.

9:36 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Green Street and West Victory Way for a report of three men who had vandalized a handicap parking sign. Officers have the names of the suspects.

10:15 p.m. Officers responded to the 800 block of East Seventh Street for a report of theft from a residence.

9:25 a.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Colorado Highway 13 near mile marker 75 and issued a summons for speeding.

10:31 a.m. Deputies responded to a report of child abuse in Moffat County.

10:59 a.m. Deputies responded to the 25900 block of Colo. 13 for a report of theft.

5:35 p.m. Deputies assisted another agency with a report of child neglect in Moffat County.

9:01 a.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Ranney Street and issued a summons for speeding.

11:08 a.m. Deputies responded to the 5000 block of Colo. 13 for a report of misdemeanor theft.

2:46 p.m. Deputies responded to the 400 block of Ceratosaurus Street for a report of theft.

4:25 p.m. Deputies at the Moffat County Safety Center, 800 W. First St., arrested a suspect on a warrant.

1:26 a.m. Deputies responded to the 1300 block of Sage Court and arrested a man on suspicion of driving under the influence.

9:42 a.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 18 and issued a summons for speeding.

10:13 a.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on U.S. 40 and Colo. 64 and issued a summons for speeding.

10:58 a.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on U.S. 40 near mile marker 2 and issued a summons for speeding.

11:41 a.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on U.S. 40 near mile marker 6 and issued a summons for speeding.

12:01 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on U.S. 40 near mile marker 1 and issued a summons for speeding.
