Colorado looking to provide comprehensive approach to sex education

If a bill concerning human sexuality education successfully passes the Senate, Moffat County School District might have to change some aspects of its sex education curriculum.

The Moffat County School District is hosting open houses for community members to meet candidates for two principal positions.

Moffat County soccer lost to Grand Valley, 6-0, on Wednesday in Parachute. The game, rescheduled from Tuesday in Craig because of field conditions, did not turn out well for the Bulldogs on the scoreboard or on the field.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife hunting and fishing licenses for the 2013-14 season are on sale at retail outlets, Parks and Wildlife offices and online. The deadline to apply for a big game hunting tag is April 2.

Bear River Young Life fundraising gala set for Sunday

Bear River Young Life is hosting its annual fundraising gala on Sunday. Area director David Pressgrove said the event usually averages 150 attendees, but this year’s goal is to have 100 new guests.
