I would like to thank the management and staff of the Holiday Inn for their assistance March 8 when a bus caught fire on U.S. Highway 40. Their willingness to help the Office of Emergency Management with the transportation of stranded passengers was greatly appreciated.
In times of emergencies, it is only with the support and cooperation of our partners in the private sectors that a community can adequately respond to the needs of both its residents and visitors. The staff of the Holiday Inn has proved that they are truly an asset to our community.
