Roadwork is underway on Colorado Highway 82

Colorado Highway 82 in El Jebel will be resurfaced between Carbondale and El Jebel. Traffic delays and single-lane closures can be expected from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, according to CDOT. Traffic will not be impacted between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. for traffic towards Aspen, and between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. for down-valley traffic. Starting July 8, there will be intersection closures at JW Drive then Valley Road During these closures, traffic will be directed to use El Jebel Road and the eastern entrance of Valley Road.
