I watched the rain clouds roll in and there were a few anxious moments of wondering if the rain would put a stop to the evenings fireworks display. There was no need to worry though, as the night came in the fireworks started and lit up the sky like a kaleidoscope. The cool breeze that came by made the show even more enjoyable, a nice way to end the Fourth of July.
The weather forecast calls for afternoon showers off and on, so maybe we will get some relief from the heat. There will always be some who complain about the heat, the cold, the wind, and so on. We need to remember that it is all temporary and will change as it always does, so enjoy it while it lasts because today will only happen once and then it’s gone. Be sure and let those that you care for know you care, forgive those whom you think have done you a wrong and help those who need it. Even though the celebrations are over for our Independence Day we still have those who serve to keep us safe.
Soldiers, firefighters, police, doctors — the list go on and on, but the dedication it takes to do those jobs and do them well should not be taken for granted.
