To the editor:
The Craig Chamber of Commerce's current recruitment of the best large and small business of Moffat County is a pointed statement that no matter how well a business serves its customers, if that business is not a part of the Chamber, it can't possibly be a good business.
We frequent several small businesses that have decided that Chamber membership is either too expensive or too politically manipulated to make it worthwhile. They still offer excellent customer service.
If the Chamber truly wants to highlight the businesses of Craig and Moffat County, their "Best" contests should be open to any business in the County, not just those who pay their dues for the in crowd.
