To the editor:
St. Michael's Community Kitchen would like to thank The Memorial Hospital Staff, George and Val Rohrich, and Jennifer Riley for their support.
We have counted on these people for use of a freezer including all maintenance and repairs, leftover food on Tuesdays and Thursdays to serve in addition to the regular two meals a week, cooking a meal at least once every other month, delivering meals to the shut-ins every week, helping to serve on days we have been short on volunteers, and organizing several food drives a year.
They also have provided any other support we may need, including the use of ovens to cook holiday meals and offering to cook turkeys and hams.
We will miss George and Val's leadership, support and friendships. We wish you well on your new endeavors.
