The Memorial Hospital at Craig Board of Trustees and its management company, Quorum Health Resources, announced the appointment of Joyce Grove Hein as interim Chief Executive Officer of TMH in a news release Thursday.
Hein has been with QHR since 2007 and has served in various interim positions with QHR-managed hospitals, the release stated.
Her experience includes nearly 20 years in healthcare administration in a wide variety of roles. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Arts in Human and Health Administration from St. Mary’s College in Minnesota.
She will start Monday at TMH.
Hein comes to Moffat County after the resignation of TMH CEO George Rohrich. QHR is performing a national search to find a permanent CEO for the hospital.
“The Board has mandated that the search process be collaborative and include key stakeholders,” QHR Regional Vice President Mike Mullins said in the release. “In addition to the Board’s input, we will seek input from the medical staff, employees of the hospital and the community to find the right candidate for the permanent position.”
Once finalists have been chosen, on-site interviews will be conducted including meet-and-greet sessions with TMH employees and community members.
