The board also expressed appreciation for Forrest Luke’s interest in staying on the board and congratulated him on his reappointment. — The board elected new officers. TMH’s acquired infection rate is 0.99 percent, meaning about one in every 100 patients acquire an infection while at the hospital. The average infection rate for Critical Access hospitals is between 3 and 4 percent. — Angela Smith, director of executive recruitment, provided information about the CEO recruitment process. Smith estimated the search would take roughly four to six months.
