The Moffat County girls swimming team’s home meet this weekend has had slight changes with the teams who will be attending.
Originally, Steamboat Springs, Grand Junction and Delta were going to come to the meet. Delta is still planning on coming to Craig, but Steamboat’s girls swim season has been canceled due to lack of numbers on the team, and Grand Junction’s plans changed.
In their place, the Central-Palisade team, a combined team of swimmers from Central High School in Grand Junction and Palisade High School, will be in Craig.
The meet is still set for 10 a.m. warm-ups and an 11 a.m. start for events Saturday. It is the first home sporting event of the winter sports season for MCHS.

Craig BCA resumes play this weekend
After no play this week due to the Thanksgiving holiday, standings in the Craig Billiards Congress of America (BCA) pool league have not changed.
The league, which plays on Mondays at 6 p.m. at Popular Bar, 24 W. Victory Way, still host a Bring a Friend Tournament Saturday, in which current BCA members can invite non-members to take part in a competitive tournament.
In past years the league has held a Sunday league as well as the current Monday league, but play on Sundays was canceled for the fall start due to a lack of interest. BCA is hoping to restart at 5 p.m. this Sunday, if there is enough interest.
Craig BCA plays Mondays at 6 p.m., at Popular Bar, 24 W. Victory Way.
For more information, call Jolene Walls at 970-620-0056 or email the league at firstname.lastname@example.org.
