The fall coed volleyball leagues are open for signups for the next week, with the season beginning soon after.
Craig Parks and Recreation’s competitive and semi-competitive volleyball leagues begin play Sept. 9. Registration ends Wednesday and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Six players can take the court at the same time, but teams may play with as few as three at once.
The cost to join the league is $125 per team and $10 per team member. The competitive league will play Monday nights and the semi-competitive teams will play Tuesdays or Thursdays.

LSRV receives top-3 ranking in preseason
The Little Snake River Valley 6-man football team was picked third in the Wyoming preseason football poll.
The Rattlers, of Baggs, Wyo., are coming off a loss in the state championship game last season, after winning consecutive state titles in 2010 and 2011.
But this year, they face the difficulty of missing 10 graduated seniors.
Snake River received 93 points in the voting, including two first-place votes. The Rattlers trail Midwest (99 points) and defending state champ Dubois (162).
The Rattlers begin their season Friday vs. Saratoga in Baggs.
They will also host Meeteetse Sept. 13 and Dubois Oct. 18 in key games throughout the season.
Schedule change for MCHS volleyball C team
Moffat County High School volleyball changed the location of an Oct. 7 match for its C team this season.
The team was originally slated to play at the Meeker Quad that day, with a time still to be determined, but the matches have now been moved to the Steamboat Quad. The C team’s first set of games at the Steamboat Quad Sept. 10 are still scheduled the same, according to the schedules released by the Moffat County Athletic Department.
Pool league in Craig begins Sept. 15.
The Craig Billiards Congress of America pool 8-ball league begins Sept. 15. League events take place at Popular Bar, 24 W. Victory Way.

Parks and Rec basketball signups open
The youth basketball leagues through Craig Parks and Recreation are open for registration.
The leagues for third and fourth grader boys and girls, and fifth and sixth grade boys and girls, will begin with a mandatory skills days Sept. 23 through 26 at Sunset Elementary School. They skills days and league seasons will focus on teaching children the basics of the game and help develop an understanding of the rules of basketball.
Dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding and offensive and defensive principles will all be covered.
Game will begin in October. Registration closes Sept. 18.
