Friday, April 19

Byron James Whitman, 30, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on suspicion of harassment, obstruction of telephone or telegraph service and domestic violence.

Keith Patrick Keller, 41, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on a warrant.

Saturday, April 20

Jarrod Holmlund, 25, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on a warrant.

Jeffery Allen Forquer, 29, of Hayden, was booked into Moffat County Jail on suspicion of third-degree assault, child abuse, criminal mischief, domestic violence and obstruction of telephone or telegraph service.

Sunday, April 21

Brian David Garcia, 34, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on suspicion of violating a restraining order.

Monday, April 22

Bryan Jennings Johnson, 36, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on a warrant.

James Oliver Bowman, 45, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on suspicion of harassment.

Friday, April 19

7:15 a.m. Officers responded to a report of child abuse in Craig.

7:51 a.m. Officers responded to the 3500 block of Douglas Street for a domestic disturbance. A man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, among other charges.

7:52 a.m. Officers responded to the 800 block of East 10th Street for a hit-and-run crash involving a 2005 Ford Explorer. The run vehicle struck the mirror of the Explorer, which was parked.

1:15 p.m. Officers met a man in the lobby of the Moffat County Public Safety Center who reported being in possession of a suspicious article. The man reported he was asked by a stranger to deliver a cellphone to a third party residing in Denver. The cellphone was booked for safekeeping.

1:50 p.m. Officers red-tagged an abandoned vehicle in the 500 block of Taylor Street for impeding snow removal.

6:17 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Ninth Street and Yampa Avenue for a car crash. An undisclosed driver was issued a summons for driving with defective brake lights.

10:47 p.m. Officers responded to the 1200 block of Marianna Way for a noise complaint. A man was issued a summons for breach of peace.

Saturday, April 20

3:14 a.m. Officers responded to the 600 block of Riford Road for a disturbance in progress. A man and a woman were reportedly having an argument. The man was in his vehicle when officers arrived. He was soon after arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

5:09 p.m. Officers responded to the 1000 block of Yampa Avenue and arrested a man on suspicion of third-degree assault, among other charges.

5:10 p.m. Officers responded to the 400 block of Hawthorn Street and arrested a man on suspicion of violating a restraining order. The man reportedly was in possession of and had consumed alcohol and marijuana, which also were violations of a court order.

9:20 p.m. Officers responded to Veterans Memorial Park for a report of a suspicious vehicle. A man was issued a summons for possession of ethyl alcohol.

Sunday, April 21

7:27 a.m. Animal control officers responded to the 1100 block of Barclay Street for a report of two dogs at large. Upon arrival, officers determined the dogs had been neglected because of extreme matting obscuring the dogs’ vision. The dogs were taken to the animal shelter and later released to their owner. The owner will be charged with two counts each of animal at large, neglect, failure to wear city licenses and failure to wear rabies tags.

10:11 a.m. Officers responded to the 800 block of Colorado Street for a disturbance between a man and his daughter. The daughter moved out after the altercation. No charges were filed.

2:55 p.m. Officers responded to Victory Motors for a report of criminal mischief. Employees reported a car had its window broken, and a 2012 Jeep and a 2013 Dodge Charger had been jumped on and damaged. Officers observed numerous shoe prints and dents in the two vehicles, which were located on the southeast corner of the lot.

Monday, April 22

7:49 a.m. Officers responded to the 300 block of School Street for a report of a cold burglary.

8:09 a.m. Officers responded to the 300 block of Russell Street for a two-car crash. No injuries were reported.

2:54 p.m. Officers at the Moffat County Public Safety Center took a domestic violence report from a resident.

3:45 p.m. Officers responded to the 400 block of Barclay Street for a report of a man threatening a woman.

4:49 p.m. Officers responded to Cedar Mountain Village, 900 block of West First Street, for a report of a camper that had been vandalized.

8:11 p.m. Officers responded to the 300 block of Stout Street for a report of trespassing. A woman reported her ex-husband took items from her home. The man returned the items after being located by officers. The man was issued a trespass summons.

8:18 p.m. Officers at the Moffat County Public Safety Center helped the Steamboat Springs Police Department with an undisclosed complaint.

Monday, April 15

7:54 p.m. Deputies received a harassment report from an undisclosed party at the Moffat County Public Safety Center. The report later was deemed unfounded.

9:14 p.m. Deputies responded to Redwood Place for a report of a barking dog. A summons is pending.

Wednesday, April 17

7:41 p.m. Deputies responded to the 400 block of Pronghorn for a report of a suspicious car.

Thursday, April 18

12:04 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 84 and issued a driver a summons for driving 77 mph in a 65 mph zone.

2:28 p.m. Deputies at the Moffat County Public Safety Center responded to a request to assist another agency with digital forensic evidence.

3:12 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Colorado Highway 13 near mile marker 97 and issued a summons to a driver for driving 79 mph in a 65 mph zone.

3:47 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Colo. 13 near mile marker 107 and issued a driver a summons for driving 78 mph in a 65 mph zone.

8:03 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Colo. 13 near mile marker 96 and arrested a man for driving while under restraint.

Friday, April 19

12:24 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Colo. 13 near mile marker 102 and issued a driver a summons for driving 80 mph in a 65 mph zone.

12:46 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Colo. 13 near mile marker 106 and issued a driver a summons for driving 83 mph in a 65 mph zone.

1:27 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Colo. 13 near mile marker 103 and issued a driver a summons for driving 80 mph in a 65 mph zone.

8:27 p.m. Deputies at the Moffat County Public Safety Center arrested a man on a warrant.

Sunday, April 21

9:59 p.m. Deputies responded to the 2300 block of Moffat County Road 139 for a disturbance in progress. A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of harassment.

Monday, April 22

10:03 a.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Colo. 13 near mile marker 75 and issued a summons to a driver for speeding.

11:02 a.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on U.S. 40 near mile marker 47 and issued a summons to a driver for speeding.
