Food pantry clients moving from emergency to monthly use

The Food Bank of the Rockies mobile pantry unit will roll into Craig next Tuesday as one of its monthly stops on the Western Slope. As usual, there most likely will be a long line of people waiting for food at the Craig Boys & Girls Club. Although not having enough to eat usually isn’t associated with the American culture of super-sized fast food, the Food Bank of the Rockies reports one in seven Coloradans go hungry.

Youth wrestlers showcased in Craig

With hundreds of children to keep track of at an all-day event, hosting youth wrestling can be a logistical nightmare. But it was no problem for Moffat County Youth Wrestling. The MCYW team hosted the Levi Webber Memorial Tournament on Saturday at Moffat County High School. It was the team’s first home tournament and went well from start to finish.
