Volleyball loses in three to Coal Ridge

Adjustments were not enough to make a difference for the Moffat County Volleyball team in another loss to Coal Ridge Thursday.

The Bulldogs had played the Titans at home Sept. 13 and lost in three sets, including a 25-7 setback. Thursday’s match played out in similar fashion, with Moffat County falling 10-25, 9-25, 19-25.

The volleyball team is also coming to the end of its season. The Bulldogs play Grand Valley High School Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the MCHS gym.

In their first meeting of the season, Grand Valley beat Moffat County in four sets. The freshman and junior varsity teams are scheduled to start Tuesday’s action at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively.
