Yampa Valley Data Partners would like to give an enormous thank you to Yampa Valley Design Guild and their group of the Steamboat Design Campers.

This summer, our organization was selected from a RFP process to be the nonprofit project the Steamboat Design Campers would focus on. We feel like we won the lottery.

Nine bright, young, creative campers from all of the country convened in Steamboat Springs one August weekend to work on creating a new logo, design and brand for Yampa Valley Data Partners.

As a nonprofit organization it is sometimes hard to make branding and marketing a priority in a tight budget. Most of our funds go to our products and services we provide for the community.

The campers came from various places around the country such as Maryland, Kansas, Alaska, Denver and our very own Steamboat Springs. We gave them a long list of projects expecting only 2 or 3 would be accomplished.

Much to our amazement all projects were completed including business cards, stationary, door signs, banners and redesigning our key products such as FastFacts, our Quarterly Economic Forecast Newsletter and the community indicator project. The design campers provided us with roughly $30,000 of design work for free.

The campers were a complete joy to work with on this project.

The mission of the Yampa Valley Design Guild is to bring together professional graphic designers for the purpose of community contributions, member education, ethical practices, and to create a support group in which they can exchange ideas and inspire creativity.

On behalf of the YVDP board of directors, we sincerely and gratefully appreciate and thank the Yampa Valley Design Guild (yvdg.org) for elevating our organization to the upmost professional market and brand profile.
