To the editor:

On behalf of the entire Peck family, I’d like to thank the people of Craig for their warm and heartfelt support in the wake of the death of my son, Justin Peck.

We have received hundreds of cards and letters from the good people of this community, and generous donations allowed thousands of dollars to be raised to assist two nonprofit organizations that were instrumental in Justin’s life.

I was touched by the outpouring of support and generosity from so many people, particularly since I haven’t lived in Moffat County for years.

With so much focus on what’s wrong with the world these days, it was refreshing to experience this shining example of what’s right. Thanks to everyone in Craig for helping all of us through this difficult time.
