Children’s health fair Thursday, Friday
A children’s health fair will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1295 W. Ninth St.
The event is free and open to children from birth to 5 years old who are not yet in kindergarten.
Developmental screenings are available in several areas, including cognition, vision, dental and speech.

Safari Club fundraiser Saturday
A fundraiser banquet for the Yampa Valley Chapter of the Safari Club International takes place Saturday at the Holiday Inn of Craig, 300 S. Colorado Highway 13.
A cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m.
Tickets cost $45 per person, $85 per couple and $500 per table.
Tickets are available from chapter members or at Rummel Chiropractic Health Center, 333 E. Victory Way, and Mountain Man Taxidermy, 1176 Yampa Ave.

Preserving the Last Frontier meeting Saturday
Preserving the Last Frontier conducts its monthly meeting at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the library on the second floor of Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St.
Bill Mack will present the Mack family history during the meeting, which is open to the public.
