The baby weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce and was 19 inches long. Grandparents are Arlo and Kathi Lott and John and Nina Hollifield, all of Jerome, Idaho. The baby was welcomed home by siblings Drake and Abby Lott.
- Mary Dean and Shawn Stevenson, of Craig, announce the birth of their son, Wyatt Daniel Stevenson, at 11:21 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. The baby weighed 8 pounds, 11.6 ounces and was 20 ½ inches long. Maternal grandparents are Dave and Carol Balleck, of Craig. Paternal grandparents are Keith and Teresa Stevenson, of Thornton. The baby was welcomed home by siblings Kuyler, Koda and Brooke.
- Ashley Simpson and Chuck Weis, of Craig, announce the birth of their son, Clayton Wayne Weis, at 7:45 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. The baby weighed 8 pounds, .08 ounces and was 19 ¾ inches long. Maternal grandparents are Pat and Kathy Simpson and Belinda Wyman, all of Craig. Paternal grandparents are Chuck and Kim Weis, of Craig. The baby was welcomed home by a sibling, Dalton Weis.
- Nicole Granados and Keith Mooney, of Craig, announce the birth of their sons, Keith Arlo Mooney, Jr., and Kayden Anthony Mooney, on Friday, March 9, 2012, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. Keith was born at 6:57 a.m., and Kayden was born at 7 a.m. Keith weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces and was 21 inches long. Kayden weighed 7 pounds, 5.7 ounces and was 20 ½ inches long. Maternal grandparents are Pat Granados, of Indio, Calif., and the late Shelly Kay Volkmar. The babies were welcomed home by siblings Hailie Kay Bomar.

- Health center shuttered in Baggs, Wyo.

- The Noyes Health Care Center in Baggs, Wyo., shut its doors permanently Tuesday, the agency reported in a news release. A staff member will be retained for two weeks as patients transition to other health care providers. The agency will advertise dates when patients can get copies of their medical records, according to the release.

- Would the Founding Fathers recognize today’s U.S. government? Would those who lived in the 13 states that ratified the U.S. Constitution? I’ve become a better student of American history since the 2008 national elections than I was during my high school years, and my answer to these questions is a resounding NO. To explain my answer, I think it’s necessary to see what the American mind was like that caused us to declare our independence from the British, fight the Revolutionary War, and come up with the form of government they did.
