2 more destroyed homes found in N. Colorado fire

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — The number of homes destroyed by the High Park Fire in northern Colorado has risen to 259.
Officials said Friday they found two destroyed homes that hadn't previously been counted.
The 136-square-mile fire, which was started by lightning on June 9, is 93 percent contained. Firefighters say they expect full containment this weekend.
The fire killed one person.
The Pine Ridge Fire in western Colorado has grown to 19 square miles and is 10 percent contained. It has burned three empty tents and campers. But some of evacuees south of De Beque (di-BEK) were being allowed back home Friday night. The fire is nearing Interstate 70, which has one lane open in each direction.
A fire southwest of Boulder is 40 percent contained. It remains at 300 acres.
