Associated Governments of Northwest Colorado has selected Scott McInnis as its new executive director, the agency recently announced in a news release.
McInnis is a Grand Junction attorney who has served as both a state representative for the 57th House District and a U.S. Congressman for the Third Congressional District, according to the release.
Most recently he has served as a special partner with the Hogan and Hartson law firm, the release stated.
“Scott’s extensive background in government, energy, public lands, natural resources, water issues and tourism makes him highly qualified for this position,” said Mike Samson, Garfield County Commissioner and AGNG chairman, in the release.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have him on board.”
