First Street road closure
A temporary closure is scheduled for First Street between Stock Drive and Preece Avenue beginning Monday and continuing through June 29.
Traffic will be detoured around the closure.

MCHS Class of 1992 reunion
A reunion for the Moffat County High School Class of 1992 takes place today and Saturday in Craig.
An informal reception is scheduled for 7 p.m. today at J.W. Snack’s Bar & Grill, 210 E. Victory Way. A golf activity also is scheduled this afternoon for interested participants.
A reunion dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. at OP Bar & Grill, 534 E. Victory Way.

Sand Wash basin cleanup
The Sand Wash Basin Wild Horse Club will host its first cleanup day at noon today and Saturday at Sand Wash Basin’s main entrance at the intersection of Colorado Highway 318 and Moffat County Road 67. Volunteers are welcome to camp tonight.

Discounted cat adoptions at animal shelter
Bear Creek Animal Hospital/Craig Animal Shelter, 2430 E. Victory Way, will offer discounted cat adoptions this month in honor of Adopt a Shelter Cat Month.
All cats and kittens are $50 to adopt. The cost includes spay and neuter operations, a first set of vaccinations and feline leukemia tests.
Newspapers launch Cohunter website
The Craig Daily Press and Steamboat Pilot and Today have launched an online home for the Colorado Hunter magazine produced annually by the newspapers.
In addition to providing readers with news from Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the Bureau of Land Management, and other agencies that impact hunting and outdoor recreation in the state, www.cohunter.com has a platform for readers to submit personal hunting stories and pictures.
The site also provides a link to an e-edition of the 2011 Colorado Hunter Magazine. The 2012 edition will be released later this year.
