Variety show set for today
A monthly variety show is scheduled for 7 p.m. today at the Holiday Inn of Craig, 300 S. Colorado Highway 13.
The event features performers from around Northwest Colorado.

Grand Futures hosting scavenger hunt
The Grand Futures Prevention Coalition will host its first 5K scavenger hunt June 9 in Steamboat Springs.
Check-in and registration begins at 8 a.m. at Steamboat Springs High School, 45 E. Maple St., and the race begins at 9 a.m.
The event includes stations with games and activities.
Entrants must have teams of four people to participate.
Registration for a team costs $100, and registration for a family — which includes at least one adult and at least one child younger than 16 — costs $75.
Proceeds support Grand Futures substance abuse education and prevention activities for children and teens in Moffat, Routt and Grand counties.

Health self-management workshops
Aging Well, a program of the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association, will host Healthier Living Colorado from 10 a.m. to noon every Thursday from June 14 through July 26, with the exception of July 5, at the VNA’s Craig office, 745 Russell St.
The event is a self-management workshop for adults 18 and older with chronic illnesses or health problems.
Caregivers and partners are welcome to attend. The cost is $20 for materials.

Sand Wash basin cleanup
The Sand Wash Basin Wild Horse Club will host its first cleanup day at noon June 15 and 16 at Sand Wash Basin’s main entrance at the intersection of Colorado Highway 318 and Moffat County Road 67.
The group is seeking volunteers for the event.
Participants are welcome to camp the night of June 15.
