New organization seeking board members

Freedom Hooves, an organization promoting therapeutic riding in Northwest Colorado, is looking for people to serve on the group's board of directors.

Anyone interested should send a letter stating their interest and what they can bring to the board.

Foreclosure prevention workshop set for Thursday

A foreclosure prevention workshop is scheduled for 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday in the conference room in the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way.

The event, sponsored by the Colorado Foreclosure Hotline, is free and open to the public.

Housing counselors approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development will be available to speak with residents about foreclosure prevention options.

Sports physicals available Thursday at TMH Medical Clinic

Sports physicals for Craig Middle School and Moffat County High School athletes will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at The Memorial Hospital Medical Clinic, located at 785 Russell St.

The cost is $15 per physical. Appointments are not necessary.
