The Sandwash Basin Wild Horse Club will meet at 2 p.m. Feb. 18 at the Golden Cavvy Restaurant, 538 Yampa Ave.

The meeting is open to anyone interested in the local wild horse herd.

Extension accepting 4-H enrollments

The Moffat County Extension Office is accepting enrollment for the 2012 4-H year.

Applications can be picked up from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday at the extension office, 539 Barclay St.

Craig Book Club set to meet

The Craig Book Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 657 Green St. Shirley Brinks will review the book “Wrecker,” by Summer Wood.

TMH hosts Lunch and Learn

Lunch and Learn, a monthly informational series put on by The Memorial Hospital, takes place at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday in the conference rooms at the hospital, 750 Hospital Loop.

A free soup and sandwich lunch will be provided.

This month’s installment will offer information about cancer treatments the hospital offers. TMH infusion nurse Marie Kettle and general surgeon Jeff Womble will talk about the hospital’s infusion clinic, cancer treatments in Craig, and surgeries that can be done locally.

Free cardiovascular screenings

The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association’s Craig office, 745 Russell St., will offer free cardiovascular screenings from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every Monday in February.
