BLM to host meeting on sage grouse
The Bureau of Land Management’s Little Snake Field Office, 455 Emerson St., in Craig, will host an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday to address greater sage grouse in Routt National Forest.
The meeting, which will be hosted in conjunction with the U.S. Forest Service, is designed to inform the public about greater sage grouse planning efforts and gather comments related to sage grouse conservation measures.
Comments could be included in a possible revision of the Routt National Forest Land and Resource Management Plan, the Forest Service reported in a news release.

Connections 4 Kids art show set to begin Wednesday
Connections 4 Kids, the early childhood council of Moffat and Rio Blanco counties, is hosting its inaugural Cherish the Little Things art show Wednesday through Feb. 11, the council reported in a news release.
The show will be open to the public from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, and Feb. 10, and from 1 to 5 p.m. Feb. 11 at The Center of Craig, 601 Yampa Ave. The show also will be open from 5 to 8 p.m. during the annual ArtWalk on Feb. 11.
The show features up to 200 pieces of art created by children and teens in preschool through high school.
Residents may vote by monetary donation on their favorite pieces.
