To the editor:
The question is being asked: Why do I want a rapid fire rifle with a high capacity magazine?
Has everyone forgotten that our own government was an early pioneer in school shootings? When the Army National Guard fired into unarmed students at Kent State University. Four dead in Ohio.
Then there was Ruby Ridge. A young boy shot in the back and an unarmed mother shot by a sniper. It's impossible to know if I'll need to defend myself from a lone gunman or my own government.
That's why I need a rapid fire high capacity rifle.

Trust me, Jon, the notion that ANY firearm that you can own, legally or otherwise, would be protection from the resources that our government can bring to bear is pure fantasy.
