The Northwest Colorado Snowmobile Club (NOWECOS) of Craig announced the winners of its raffle for a new Snowmobile.
The Craig group held a raffle, selling tickets to people throughout the Western Slope, with local businesses also helping in the selling effort.
The winner of the raffle was Dale Hollingshead of Grand Junction, who will receive the top prize, a 2013 Arctic Cat M800 Snowmobile. Glen Miller of Montrose took second prize, $1,000.
NOWECOS also will hold the Poker Run in January to raise more money for scholarships. Last year, the two events raised enough money to fund two $1,200 scholarships, awarded to Moffat County students at the end of the school year.

Next session of water aerobics courses set for winter
Craig residents looking to get a different style of exercise are in luck.
Water aerobics courses, which began Oct. 22 and run through Jan. 16, 2013, offer a good combination of exercise benefits, improving fitness and flexibility while also being easier on the joints than other forms of exercise.
Classes are Mondays and Wednesdays from 7- to 8 p.m. at Moffat County High School. The fee to drop-in for a class is $4.
While the current session is winding down its final few weeks, another session beginning the following week is open for registration. Classes will be the same days and time each week, beginning Jan. 21, 2013.
The coming session runs through March 27, 2013 and costs $50 to register. A $4 per session walk in fee also is an option.
