Keith Prescott: Happy at TMH, part 2

Editor’s note: this is part two of a two-part letter submitted to the Craig Daily Press by Keith Prescott. Part one can be found in the Dec. 19 Craig Daily Press or online at www.craigdailypress.com

To the editor:

I have worked other places, and I do not plan on leaving The Memorial Hospital.

I am in daily contact with George Rohrich, Scott Ellis, and Jeff Womble. I am grateful that they are here. We are better because of their care they give to our community.

I want to thank Mike Lyon for giving me the opportunity to live among the good people of Craig. He has served this community for years.

I hope to follow in his footsteps.

I want to thank the administration for rolling out the red carpet for me during my interview process, specifically George Rohrich, Jennifer Riley, Karen Zimmerman, Julie Hanna and Beka Warren!

And I also need to thank our surgical team. These guys are valuable! Their training is solid and working alongside them is no different than any other surgical team I have worked with.

There is only one way we are different here: This is a happy group. I look forward to working alongside them for years to come.

May each of you have a Merry Christmas!

I hope The Craig Daily press will learn to focus more on the great things occurring in our community.

For example, our community has had some excellent musical productions recently. Some performed by our very talented high school and middle school students, led by very dynamic instructors.

These are positive things occurring! Let’s step away from the negative. It's Christmas!!!

God bless us everyone!

Sincerely,

Keith Prescott

Keith. It sounds like you may be new to TMH and Craig. Welcome!. The best advise I can offer you is do not become too attached to your job and your new community as the "Honeymoon" soon will end if history and experiance hold true. It is pretty easy to catch a fish on a shiney new lure but take my word friend.... things arent always as they seem. Hats of to Dr. Allen Rieshus for his courage to lend his opinion regarding TMH and the current administration. It is "spot on".
