The snow finally got here and the weather man's predictions came true, about every day somebody would say it's supposed to snow or it's gonna snow today. I reply yeah it's coming.
I go by the calendar winter officially starts on the 21 which is the winter solstice, shortest day of the year. But like any other season the changes start early on, so the weather is variable.
Best bet is to dig out the winter stuff and enjoy the weather whatever it may be. 'Cause baby it's cold outside.
Meantime, birthdays I have Keith Keller, Vanessa Zunita, Victoria Danskew, Heidi Meyring, Mary Preece, Janis Coupens, Mary Lou Hall, Addyln Ogden.
Get well soon — speedy recovery to Twanetta "Toni" Ayers, Paul Tabor, Sr., Caleb Miller, Clara Abeyta and all you victims of the cold and the flu.
Boys & Girls Club the place where the mobile food pantry truck commodities will be Dec. 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. More information call Kim Maneotis at 826-0411 or Jill Heidel at 970-243-3937.
American Council of the Blind will meet Thursday, Dec. 13 at Sunset Meadows II at 1:30 p.m. Anyone with low visibility or interested in more information for the meeting is welcome.
Sunset meadows I noon pot-luck Friday 14. Bingo may follow at 1 p.m.
