With the start of a new school year, Moffat County School District is welcoming a group of new teachers to the area. Some of those teachers met with the Craig Daily Press this week for a short Q and A session:

“My family’s here and I just had a baby. They’re such a wonderful support system. We have family friends here that are just a lot of help.”

What brought you to Moffat County?

“This district just represented to both my fiancé and I, who also is a new teacher here, that it really cared about the success of kids. The people out here have been really friendly to us. We came out here because my fiancé grew up here and we wanted to be in the Craig environment.”

“I have 4 children, 2 grandchildren here. We camp, hunt, garden. The great outdoors of Colorado. I’ve been here a long time. Not new to Moffat County, just a new teacher.”
