American Legion Bingo will be held August 25th at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and bingo begins at 5:45 p.m.
Viz-Abilities meeting slated
The Northwest Colorado Viz-Abilities, a group supporting residents with low vision, will meet at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27 in the second floor library at Sunset Meadows.

AARP meeting Monday
Craig AARP Chapter No. 1418 will meet at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St.

Home school association meeting set
The Northwest Colorado Home School Association hosts a parents meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Connie Sue Ellis’ house.

VNA meeting Wednesday
Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association will host its Annual Meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at The Haven Community Center.

Discount cat adoptions extended
Through Sept. 8, the Humane Society of Moffat County, 2430 E. Victory Way, is offering all cat adoptions for $50, which includes spay/neuter, the first set of vaccines and a feline leukemia test.
The regular adoption rate is $115.
Bear Creek Animal Hospital also is sponsoring the event.
