Community members and students interested in going to London, England and Edinburgh, Scotland, from March 8-17, 2013, as part of the Colorado Northwestern Community College’s international trip are invited to attend an informational meeting.

The meeting takes place at 7 p.m. tonight in room 175 of the Academic Building on the Craig campus.

Trip deposit deadline is September 4.

Back to School Night slated

Sandrock Elementary School, 201 E. Ninth St., is hosting an open house Back to School Night from 4 to 6 p.m. tonight.

Parents and students will have a chance to meet the teachers and see classrooms.

Elks Bingo featuring must-go jackpot

The Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way, is hosting bingo at 6 p.m. tonight.

The Northwest Colorado Viz-Abilities, a group supporting residents with low vision, will meet at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27 in the second floor library at Sunset Meadows.

Discount cat adoptions extended

Through Sept. 8, the Humane Society of Moffat County, 2430 E. Victory Way, is offering all cat adoptions for $50, which includes spay/neuter, the first set of vaccines and the feline leukemia test.

The regular adoption rate is $115.

Bear Creek Animal Hospital also is sponsoring the event.
