Dr. Troy Phillips, who Craig Daily Press readers voted as the best doctor in Moffat County in the 2012 Best of Moffat County contest, holds a stethoscope recently in an examining room at The Memorial Hospital Medical Clinic. Since 2009, the 34-year-old family practitioner has lived and worked in Craig, which also is home to his wife, Molly, 34, and their three sons, Avery Mac, 6; Cole Henry, 3; and Casey David, 1. “I like the diversity of the practice,” Phillips said of being a family practitioner. “I like seeing newborns all the way to grandparents and great-grandparents. … It’s very rewarding to see people in all phases of life and to care for a whole family.”
To the editor:
We would like to sincerely thank Dr. Troy Phillips for his dedication and service to our Hospice and Palliative Care Program and the families we serve. He was a very important part of our Hospice team and we will miss him very much.
We wish all the best for Troy, Molly and their children as they relocate to South Carolina.
