I’m not sure if I was really glad to see some new visitors in the yard. There must have been at least nine or so.
I enjoyed them awhile, the thought then popped into my head: I’ve never seen any of these birds anywhere.
I wonder what kind they are, where they flew in from.
They stayed around for several days. They’ve left this yard, but may still be in Craig somewhere.
Various birds have come, but I know or have an idea of where they usually are from. I enjoyed watching these birds, hope they make it — wherever they are bound for.
Likewise, we too have traveled in our time and continue to do so, whether it’s pleasure, work or a journey of trying to find someone, something, etc.
In any case, enjoy your trip, whether it’s long, short or just to the next room.
Happy birthday to Diane Beard and Esther Self.
Get well/speedy recovery to Verniece Self, Liz Breaton, Ryan Merriam, Jean Goldstein, Maria Keller, Phyllis Varelas and John Halcomb.
The McDonalds senior breakfast is Wednesday. The Sunset Meadows I Friday potluck is at noon.
Come on over. Thanks.
