A monthly variety show with music by local musicians is slated for 7 p.m. tonight at the Sports Page Bar in the Holiday Inn at Craig, 300 S. Colorado Highway 13.

Young Life golf tournament at Yampa Valley Golf Course

Bear River Young Life will host its annual golf tournament at 1 p.m. Friday at Yampa Valley Golf Course.

The tournament format is a four-person scramble, with award money going to the teams with the top three gross and net scores.

The cost is $50 per golfer. Participants can sign up at the YVGC pro shop or online at the Bear River Young Life website. Contact David Pressgrove with questions at 629-9600.

Low-cost STD testing available

Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association’s Community Health Center, 745 Russell St., will offer confidential, low cost, drop-in STD testing from 9am to 4pm on Tuesdays.

MCHS class of 2002 reunion set

A reunion weekend for the Moffat County High School class of 2002 has been scheduled for Aug. 10-12.

The weekend starts at 7 p.m. Aug. 10 with a cash bar and music on the patio at The O.P. Bar & Grill, 534 E. Victory Way. Food also can be ordered off the menu.

From 5-9 p.m. Aug. 11, dinner will be hosted at Carelli’s Pizzeria & Pasta, 465 Yampa Ave. The cost is $25 per person, plus the cost of drinks, and dinner will consist of a three-station buffet.

A famly picnic will take place at noon Aug. 12 at Loudy-Simpson Park. The cost is $15 per adult and $10 per child

Burgers, hotdogs, salad, lemonade and iced tea catered by Brothers Custom Processing. Any additional food or drink can be brought to the event.

Payment can be mailed to Krystal Fedinec at P.O. Box 574, Craig, CO, 81626. Checks can be made out to Krystal or split with $25 going to Carelli’s and the rest going to Krystal.

The cost of dinner and parking will increase is paid for at the event.
